Competition rules of Schody AŽ nahoru (Stairs To Top)

RUNNING COURSE: Staircase of the AZ Tower building
RULES:
Each competitor has to reach the top without any outside aid. The use of the elevator is prohibited. The time is measured electronically using a chip. All competitors must have their chip placed correctly, otherwise their time will not be measured. The timing begins by crossing the starting line and ends by crossing the finish line. The race starts individually in timed intervals. Competitors will have an option to get down in an elevator.

JM (juniors) 15 – 17 years* (2004-2002)
JŽ (juniors girls) 15 – 17 years* (2004-2002)
MA (men A) 18 – 39 years (2001-1980)
ŽA (women A) 18 – 34 years (2001-1985)
MB (men B) 40 – 49 years (1979-1970)
ŽB (women B) 35 – 44 years (1984-1975)
MC (men C) 50 – 59 years (1969-1960)
ŽC (women C) 45 – 54 years (1974-1965)
MD (men D) 60 – and more years (1959 and older)
ŽD (women D) 55 – and more years (1964 and older)
For categories is determinative year of birth.
* Juniors up to 18 years can participate only with the permission of their parents/legal guardians and have to hand in a form ‘Čestné prohlášení zákonného zástupce’ when collecting starting numbers.
REGISTRATION:
Possible via registration form. Payment must be made with variable symbol (ID) to bank account number 7456266001/5500, Raiffeisenbank a.s., not later than three days after registration.
Foreign payment: IBAN CZ4655000000007456266001, SWIFT: RZBCCZPP, bank charges – SHA, account owner: MARATON Brno, Gorazdova 91/2, Brno. The latest date for discounted price payment is May 16, 2019. Each runner must enter valid email to which payment information will be sent. We recommend checking your data in the runners list after registration. Registration of individuals is also possible on May 19, 2019 8:00-9:30 in the starting area, cash only.
Participants may order a T-shirt with race design for 590,- CZK/23 EUR.
STARTING BAG PICK-UP:
May 17, 2019 from 10:30 to 17:30 at Běžecká speciálka, Gorkého 40, Brno
May 19, 2019 from 8:00 to 9:30 in the AZ Tower starting area.
Starting bag will be given according to the ID number sent by e-mail after registration. Competitors do not have to pick up their starting bag by themselves.
Each runner will be given refreshments after finish.

PRIZES AND PRIZE MONEY:
For first three runners in women’s and men’s category. First three runners in each category will be given prizes.
Prize money:
1st place 1.500 CZK
2nd place 1.000 CZK
3rd place 500 CZK
AWARD CEREMONY: Starting area, 20 minutes after the finish of the last competitor.
HEALTH SERVICE: Emergency medical staff will be present.
